30. What do you understand by a Tcode?
A Tcode is a four digit alphanumeric code that is assigned to each SAP transaction. For example, Enter GL Account Document is assigned a code of FB50. You can directly enter the code in the white square box called as command field present at the extreme left side of the Execute icon. Tcodes are helpful because you cannot remember all the menu paths. A combination of both will help you to achieve your objective. For example, you can remember Tcodes for major transactions while you can use the menu paths for rarely used transactions. Whether you use SAP Easy Access Menu or Tcode, the result will be the same.
