Of course yes big dams are necessary as they are helpful in preventing floods, stored water will be used for irrigation purposes and used for generating electricity. we have done this all as it will protect us in future. But just think about our future generation, for our future we build large dams. Actually to build a dam, one has to dig the earth and some misplacements occur which leads to environmental imbalance in turn leads to global warming in turn affect us and our future generation also. Ther is a saying anything within the limits help us like medicine if it crosses it acts like poison. So think once and go for better. |

I think yes, dams provide us electricity, and they also supply water for us for various use. Dams provide life to various animals. The need is only that all these are manifacture using good techology.

Dams are for supplying water for irrigation, prevention of floods and to generate electricity. Dams are the main source for water in dry areas. It’s good to use technology for our survival. |

The government of India has contributed a lot in IT sector. A lot many IT MNC has been setup in India thereby increasing the opportunities for employment as well as preventing the brain drain.
